CLEAN VS DIRTY CARPETS

Your carpet was ENGINEERED to hold 1 pound of dirt out of eyes view per square foot.

Your vacuum can remove 80% of the dirt if you get to in time.  What is in time?  You probably are not going to like the answer but that doesn't change the fact that housework is a DAILY chore and not a WHEN I HAVE TIME thing you do when things look dirty.

Every traffic area in the home is to be vacuumed every day.  This requires 5 passes of the vacuum over each 3 foot long area with each pass taking 5 seconds.

The rest of the carpet is to be vacuumed once per week.  This requires 3 passes of the vacuum over each 3 foot long area with each pass taking 5 seconds.

If you use a strong vacuum cleaner with a bag, it must be changed every month.  This is not only due to performance issues but also due to the growth of bacteria in the bag which you probably smell every time you turn on the vacuum.

What happens if you don't vacuum every day?  The soil you could have removed is getting locked into the 20% of the soil which is oily by nature.  After a while, this builds up.  Unless the carpet is cleaned on a regular basis and properly flushed out, it will build even in a carpet with fluorocarbon protection.  Soon the carpet will exceed the 1 pound per square foot limit and begin to look dirty.

If your carpet looks clean like the first example, we do not need to restore it with the Rotovac and will use a standard wand.  However, if you have ignored the needs of your carpet, restorative cleaning is the only way to deal with the problem completely.  The second example shows a before and after of such carpet and the water extracted from the carpet was like liquid mud.

I do not do as others do.  Cleaning carpet has to be a "to-the-backing" approach not a "lick-and-promise" cleaning given by well meaning but having little experience techs.  I go back far enough to know that truly dirty carpet will take a dual process and nothing does the job like a rotary shampoo with modern chemicals and followed up immediately with the ROTOVAC.  Yes, it takes longer.  Everything of value does.  I am at your home to return the carpet to new, that means clean as new.  Unfortunately, most consumers SETTLE for something else because they do not know that there is a difference and it is POSSIBLE to get the best but there is nothing cheap about real quality.

Our coupon applies only to carpet that falls into the first example and only if the owner is having us apply fluorocarbon (sometimes called teflon or scotchgard and was applied to the carpet at the factory but wore off).  The reason for the discount is to REWARD those who want to take proper care of their carpets.  This price does not include stain removal.

Carpet in the first example without us applying a new fluorocarbon treatment are cleaned 30 cents per square foot and do not include deodorizing or stain removal.  Carpet requiring deep restorative cleaning with the ROTOVAC as in the second example are cleaned 90 cents per square foot and do not include deodorizing or stain removal.  Extremely dirty carpet will also be charge a $25 per hour extraordinary fee.
